CP GROUP MANAGEMENT TEAM GROWS BY TWO
Industry Veterans Bring Valuable Experience to New Responsibilities

NATIONAL CITY, Calif., June 6, 2008—The CP Group of Companies, empowering customers’ efficient and cost-effective separation of recycled materials, announced today that it has added two industry veterans to its management team, John Kemp and Greg Thibado. The pair brings a combined 32 years of experience in the recycling and waste recovery field, and both made the move from Waste Management.

Thibado is the general manager of the MSS Group, headquartered in Nashville. He’s responsible for bringing the practical experience of the end user to a company poised to advance technology through aggressive research and development while maintaining the traditions of quality, service, and attention to detail.

“Since MSS has been a global industry leader for almost 35 years,” Thibado said, “I’m not here to reinvent the wheel, but to continue the development and manufacture of equipment that meets customer needs and improve on the already-established standards for quality and service.”

Thibado’s 20 years of experience includes working for ALCOA Recycling and Browning Ferris Industries as well as Waste Management. His areas of expertise include facility planning, system design, equipment selection, and project and capital management for recycling and waste recovery facilities.

Kemp is CP Group’s manufacturing and operations support manager. He works directly with customers to assist them with troubleshooting problems and train them on how to get the most out of their equipment.

“A big part of my job is educating customers on how to enhance their operations by understanding how to run their equipment more efficiently to increase their profits,” Kemp said. “When I leave customer facilities, they know they have a lifeline they can call at any time if they have problems or questions.”

Kemp began his career 12 years ago as a baler technician. He moved on to become maintenance manager for several Milwaukee area recycling plants, and for the past five years, he served as market area maintenance manager, responsible for overseeing equipment upkeep, operations and process improvement, and retrofit engineering in large single-stream plants for 20 Midwest facilities.

Both Thibado and Kemp are excited about joining one of the few organizations that can provide an end-to-end solution for material recovery facilities. The increased focus on the importance of recycling provides greater opportunities for both the CP Group of Companies and its customers.
